“She” is the story of my own pregnancy loss through miscarriage. Miscarriage marked the abrupt beginning of an evolutionary process that ultimately led me to develop this e-course. Today, I am grateful to possess the ability to empathize through personal experience, as it makes me able to lead the implementation and dissemination of “Moving through Miscarriage” in a more meaningful way.
Relational transparency is the rich soil in which my DNP project first took root. I drew both from personal life experience and my volunteer work in perinatal bereavement care to build the e-course, and I am hopeful that my commitment to the subject is evident. I have developed trusting relationships with the founders of the Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Centre of Canada (PILSC), and I am thankful for their support.
I will work to serve as an authentic representation of an individual who believes in the importance of increasing knowledge to ultimately reduce human suffering caused by perinatal loss through miscarriage.
Thank you for being a part of my story.
